The firm was contracted to inventory, analyze, program and design a new Department of Public Works facility on a suburban site in Cedar Grove, New Jersey. The new facility incorporates many departments under the division of Engineering and Public Works and provides for the storage and maintenance of its vehicle fleet and service equipment. The new complex incorporates many green technologies including solar engineering and has an Energy Star certification. The complex contains 45,000 square feet of building area which includes a main structure for vehicle service, administration and laboratory work in addition to 2 out building hangars for vehicles and field equipment.
