The new Sheriff Patrol Headquarters is a new law enforcement facility to be built on an urban inner-city site. Unlike a bunker- type police barracks, the firm envisioned the new building to sit conspicuously as a neighborhood public safety icon that will be prominent, transparent and accessible. The new 8,000 square foot facility will house offices for the Patrol Divisions and the Detectives Bureau in addition to offices for Captains, Supervisors and the County Sheriff. Holding cells, Roll-Call / Muster rooms, reports office, evidence storage, locker rooms and a motorcycle garage will also be included in the new operations HQ.
